WADF World Championship & Cup 2026

The 9th edition of the international dance competition Petr Čuban Memorial: Dance Ostrava Grand Prix 2026, held together with the WADF World Championship and World Cup. It is organised by the PIERRO FORTE association together with the dance club TK Pierro Forte. Solos, duos, couples, small groups and formations compete in many disciplines: from Caribbean and Latin American dances, through urban street, jazz and modern, to classical ballet.
The competition is a memorial to the tournament's co-founder Petr Čuban, and its motto is his message "Dance in the heart". Part of the entry fees goes to the DLOUHÁ CESTA association, which supports parents who have lost a child.
The project is co-financed by the City of Ostrava and the Slezská Ostrava city district.
